In 2025, the Oklahoma City Thunder won their first-ever NBA Championship, and their victory has immortalized them spectacularly. A one-of-a-kind championship ring has been created by The Champions Collective (TCC), a new division of Jostens, in collaboration with celebrity jeweler Zo Frost, to redefine the meaning of victory. Jostens has been the go-to brand for celebrating achievements for over 100 years, producing the most coveted symbols of triumph in sports, entertainment, and beyond. The Champions Collective represents a new approach by the company, blending artistry, storytelling, and cultural relevance. The Thunder’s 2025 championship ring is TCC’s first designer collaboration, combining Jostens’ craftsmanship with Zo Frost’s streetwise flair. A Historic Design for a Historic Win The Thunder’s ring is a representation of perseverance and unity, with over 800 custom-cut, hand-set gemstones set in 14-karat gold. The team’s inner bond and outer brilliance are symbolized by a groundbreaking ring-within-a-ring design at its center. The ‘NBA CHAMPIONS’ title and Larry O’Brien Trophy, both made of 14-karat gold, are featured at the top of the ring. The Thunder roster’s strength and connection are emphasized by the luminescent diamonds that illuminate the iconic OKC Shield logo. Oklahoma’s vibrant spirit and loyal fan base are commemorated in the logo, which is surrounded by 46 tapered-cut blue sapphires. The edge of the ring is enhanced by 71 diamonds and 34 emerald-cut stones, which create a stunning frame for the masterpiece. Innovation Inside and Out The innovation is not limited to the surface. By opening the top of the ring, a detachable inner band is revealed, a feature that allows players to wear it as an alternative everyday piece. The player’s signature and jersey number are engraved on the inner band with 94 diamonds, all rendered uniquely in diamonds. Every teammate’s number on the band is symbolic of the collective unity that shaped the Thunder’s historic season. A meticulous engraving captures the moment the team lifted the trophy, immortalizing it in gold. On the left panel, the word ‘OKLAHOMA CITY’ is prominently displayed in white gold and is framed by 20 princess-cut blue sapphires. The team’s signature colors are brought to life in precious stones through 60 orange sapphires surrounding the player’s last name in yellow gold on the opposite side. The Thunder’s record-breaking 68-14 season is highlighted by blue and orange sapphires and diamond-set thunderbolts that represent each player’s number, as seen below. A Collaboration Rooted in Culture and Craft Jostens is celebrating the commencement of a new chapter in the Thunder’s championship ring, which will be a significant milestone for the organization and mark a new era for the company. TCC’s collaboration with Zo Frost illustrates their expanding influence across leagues and continents, following the two championships won by the Florida Panthers. TCC is showing its ability to combine global tradition with modern style by unveiling rings for Premier League Champions Liverpool FC in the same month. For Zo Frost, who has designed custom jewelry for some of the NBA’s biggest stars, such as several Thunder players, the project is a moment of culmination. The design was perfectly aligned with OKC’s rising energy and culture due to his influence, which infused it with elements of youth, confidence, and swagger. Redefining the Look of Victory Tuesday is a day of celebration and progress as the Thunder reveal their championship ring during their season opener. This is a declaration of evolution. Through their partnership with The Champions Collective and Zo Frost, Jostens has demonstrated that championship jewelry is now more than just tradition; it’s also about sharing stories, self-expression, and leaving a lasting legacy. TCC and Zo Frost have developed a new visual language for victory that honors the past while inspiring the future. Craftsmanship and culture come together, and every sparkle is a tale of success.
