Bangkok, October 25 (QNA) - The Royal Household Bureau in Thailand announced today that Queen Sirikit died at the age of 93. Queen Mother Sirikit, the mother of King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand, suffered a stroke in 2012 and was afterwards largely absent from public life due to declining health. The Queen Mother was the wife of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who died in 2016 after 70 years on the throne. (QNA)
