She added, "This storytelling ecosystem gives me an opportunity to possibly take up issues that I feel are relevant today and need a lot of attention. In the past 3 months, the show that I am a part of (Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2), which is seen as a reprise or resurgence, we took up many issues; issues of women and their safety at the workplace, issues of bodyshaming, of ageing, of false dowry case." Smriti Irani On Bill Gates' Cameo In KSBKBT 2 "I'm happy to share today that on a very powerful note of maternal and child health, we will have a very special guest amongst us," she continued. Irani mentioned that she had requested Bill Gates and his foundation to collaborate on using the platform to raise awareness about maternal and child health. She added that thanks to her network and the production house, the collaboration would soon be showcased on screen.
