Texans vs. Seahawks Betting Odds, Player Props, Best Bets

The final Monday Night Football doubleheader of the 2025 regular season wraps up tonight in Seattle, where the Seahawks (4-2) host the Texans (2-3). Both teams entered this season with playoff hopes despite major questions about their offensive lines. So far, Seattle has been strong defensively and good enough on the offensive line, and QB Sam Darnold and WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba have combined to make this team an early-season contender in the NFC West and beyond. The Texans are once again among the best defensive teams in the league, and their offense has improved after opening the season with three straight ugly losses in which they scored it a total of just 38 points. Can Houston win its third in a row in front of a raucous crowd at Lumen Field in Seattle? Or will the Seahawks find a way to keep pace with the 5-2 49ers and the (also 5-2) Rams in the NFC West? How To Watch Texans vs. Seahawks Kickoff: 10 p.m. ET TV: ESPN Texans vs. Seahawks Betting Odds: Spread, Moneyline, Total Texans vs. Seahawks Latest Injury News, Betting Analysis Both of these teams enter tonight's game relatively healthy. Read More The Seahawks have ruled out backup linebacker Derick Hall, while safety Julian Love and cornerback Devon Witherspoon are questionable. Witherspoon is expected to be active after fully participating in practice on Saturday, while Love will likely be a game-time decision. If Witherspoon is active, expect a strong showing from the Seattle D -- even if Love is sidelined -- as fellow starting corner RB Riq Woolen will also be back after missing last week's game with a concussion. Even with Witherspoon, Love and Woolen out last week, Seattle dominated Jacksonville on the road, winning 20-12 while racking up seven sacks. For Houston, wide receiver Christian Kirk is the only starter who is unavailable tonight. Best Texans vs. Seahawks Player Prop Bet Cooper Kupp 5+ receptions (+153 at DraftKings) Player props will be tricky to hit tonight in a matchup of two of the league's top defenses, but this should be a good spot for veteran Seattle WR Cooper Kupp. With Jaxon Smith-Njigba in a tough matchup vs. Derek Stingley Jr., Kupp will need to have a big night for Seattle to move the ball effectively. The former Rams star had just two catches last week, but I expect him to draw a lot of targets tonight, as Darnold will need to get rid of the ball quickly vs. Houston's outstanding pass rush. Texans vs. Seahawks Prediction, Best Bets Seattle struggled to get stops, to say the least, against Tampa Bay two weeks ago. Otherwise, this defense has largely been outstanding this season, despite a number of injuries. The Texans looked much better offensively against Tennessee and Baltimore the last two weeks, but doubts remain about Houston’s ability to protect CJ Stroud, especially on the road against a good pass rush. Offensively, Seattle has not seen a defense like Houston’s. It will be fascinating to see how WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba fares against lockdown Houston corner Derek Stingley Jr. If the Seattle running game once again sputters, moving the ball through the air could (obviously) be a struggle against Stingley and Co. Ultimately, I’d be surprised if this didn’t end up being a low-scoring, defensive battle. With that in mind, the under is hard to resist. I also like the ‘Hawks to cover at home against a Texans team that still has a lot to prove offensively.
