Teulada Moraira has unveiled a new series of guided routes specially designed for tourists and expats, created and led by students from the Marina Alta XIV Employment Workshop, part of CREAMA’s ongoing vocational training initiative. During the presentation, attendees discovered how the students are working to promote and adapt local walking routes across the area, making them accessible and enjoyable for everyone — including visitors with special needs. This new programme invites both residents and international visitors to explore Teulada Moraira’s cultural heritage, natural beauty and coastal charm through engaging guided experiences, bringing the region’s history and traditions to life. This initiative aims to highlight Teulada Moraira’s rich tourism appeal while showcasing CREAMA’s commitment to community engagement and professional development. The Marina Alta XIV Employment Workshop is funded by the Department of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment through LABORA – the Valencian Employment and Training Service. Monthly guided tours through Teulada Moraira CREAMA has scheduled a series of guided tours to take place on the last Friday of each month until February 2026. These walks, lasting around an hour and a half, will be animated and led by students specialising in Community Engagement. Participants will discover some of Teulada Moraira’s most iconic landmarks, including the Marjal del Senillar, the Castle, the Nautical Club, the Fishermen’s Quarter and the Portixol Viewpoint. Although Teulada’s main urban centre lies inland, the municipality boasts eight kilometres of coastline, with its port located six kilometres away in Moraira. From the town itself, visitors can even glimpse the snow-covered Sierra de Bèrnia mountains in winter. Guided tours until February 2026 The guided tours will start at 10am from the Teulada Moraira Tourist Office on the following dates: November 28, December 19, January 30 and February 20. Advance booking is required and can be made by calling 965 745 168 or via the official website. Teulada’s municipal area has been inhabited since prehistoric times, as evidenced by numerous archaeological sites. The most ancient — and one of the most significant in the entire Mediterranean region — is the Cova de la Cendra, offering a fascinating glimpse into the area’s earliest human presence.
