Welcome back, fellow foodies, to another edition of Tasty staffers' favorite things of the month. For October, we tried new restaurants that scream fall, got our hands on pro cooking tools, and even discovered a sleeper fast-food hit. Without further ado, here's everything we loved this month: 1. A "Party of Six" gift set from Marmalade Grove that'll make you feel like you're Paddington Bear sitting in the English countryside. 2. Rich and creamy Graeter's Midnight Snack Ice Cream that tastes like sneaking into your parents' kitchen as a kid to make yourself a deliciously sweet concoction. 3. A pack of convenient, ready-to-drink Joyba Bubble Tea for when you need your bubble tea fix ASAP. 4. A convenient plug-in Drift Home Scent Diffuser for anyone who loves to cook, but doesn't want their whole house to smell like sautéed onions for a week. 5. A HORL®3 Cruise Knife Sharpener for those of us who impulsively bought a whetstone and couldn't get over the learning curve. 6. A surprisingly inexpensive Anova Culinary Sous Vide Precision Cooker Nano 2.0 that'll have you feeling like a pro chef (and being the person who can't stop sous viding everything and anything). 7. Markette Restaurant for a Euro-Caribbean menu that not only delivers on a delicious meal but also a swanky, date-night vibe. 8. Salmon n' Bannock in Vancouver, BC, which celebrates Indigenous culture in the most delicious way. 9. The famous pumpkin menu from STK Steakhouse that'll get you in the fall mood. If you miss out this year, you'll always have next year to try this fan-favorite return. 10. The crispy and delicious Popeyes wing menu, which might just be redefining fast-food chicken as we know it. 11. A recipe for Spicy Carrot Rigatoni from Hailee Catalano that makes an overlooked vegetable the star (and won't leave you with a bunch of loose carrot tops to wilt in the fridge).
