The appointment is effective Nov. 3, the company said in a statement on Monday, confirming an earlier Bloomberg News report. Enders spent decades at Airbus and left in 2019. Since then, he’s held several positions on supervisory boards of German aerospace and defense companies and served as the president of the German Council on Foreign Relations.
