A van has flipped into a field in a horror crash in a Scots town. Emergency services raced to the collision on the B6371, near Tranent in East Lothian , at around 11am on Monday. Crews attended and the female driver was checked over by paramedics. A dog was also found injured and was taken to a nearby vet for treatment. Images from the scene show ambulance crews, firefighters and police in attendance. The van involved in the collision - a dog walking business van - was pictured on its side with the roof, doors and bonnet crumpled. It is understood the roof was cut away by firefighters. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.45am on Monday, 20 October, we received a report of a one-vehicle crash on Ormiston Road in Tranent. “Emergency services attended and the driver , a woman, was checked by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
