Strictly Come Dancing is braced for a major performance later this month, with a never-before twist on the fan-favourite BBC show. The official programme for the results show of week 9, which will air on Sunday, November 23, reveals that a group of former Strictly celebrities will return to the dance floor to revisit some "iconic routines" with professional dancers. It hasn't been confirmed which former contestants will come back to the show. Lewis Capaldi will be performing, the programme reveals. It reads: "It's back to Blackpool for the results as our couples find out if they've done enough to return next week. "A group of former Strictly celebrities return to the dance floor to revisit some iconic routines with our professionals, and Lewis Capaldi performs. Two couples must dance again for their place in the competition. Who's Strictly adventure will end at the Blackpool Tower?" But as the show reached its halfway point this week, fans have been reeling about the fact that Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly will step down as hosts. The news shocked viewers of the dancing competition and their replacements are yet to be confirmed. Tonight, while watching the latest episode, fans begged the pair to do a U-turn and not leave. As they introduced the judges during the live show, the duo began dancing away and certainly provided the entertainment. After seeing them having fun, fans realised how much they would miss them when Tess and Claudia leave. Asking for them to change their minds, one fan begged on X: "PLEASE DON'T LEAVE US." Another fan confessed: "I don't know what I’ll do without Claudia on my screen." Last month, the pair announced in a joint statement that they would leave as presenters. Tess said at the time: "Yeah we have news. After 21 wonderfully joyful years on Strictly we have decided the time is right to step aside and pass on the baton." Claudia added: "We have, we're so lucky to have been part of this amazing show and we just want to thank the Strictly team because Strictly is the people who make it so thank you." Claudia and Tess looked stunning in all-black outfits this evening. Claudia, 53, cut a classic appearance wearing a classic black sequined outfit, which appeared to be a shirt and matching trousers. With her trademark shoulder length hair and heavy fringe, the TV star looked elegant as she danced to the opening song of Elton John's Saturday Night's Alright. Meanwhile, Tess, opted for a more sophisticated ensemble in a black sequined halter neck top and matching floor length skirt, showing off her enviable figure. Both hosts sported a poppy, in honour of Remembrance Day, which is observed on November 11 to recall the end of First World War hostilities.
