Strictly Come Dancing fans have spotted a glaring editing mistake just seconds into tonight's programme . The BBC competition made its return with 15 celebrities hitting the dancefloor, including Amber Davies , who stepped in to replace fellow Love Island star Dani Dyer only days ago. Dani was compelled to pull out after fracturing her ankle, leaving Amber to take her spot , teaming up with Nikita Kuzmin. Yet, as the launch programme went to air tonight, fans observed that the opening credits still featured Dani instead of Amber, with Dani and Nikita being presented alongside the other celebrities. "Okay so they didn't have time to put amber in the titles yet," one viewer said, reports Essex Live . Another wrote: "Dani Dyer still on the opening credits and no Amber Davies...slightly awkward." "Dani dyer in the titles still," someone else said. Another added: "Could have taken Dani off the titles!" Other fans threw their support behind Dani, with one writing: "Gutted for Dani, hope she comes back next year." "Sending you so much love Dani," another said. It was revealed last week that Love Island winner Dani will no longer compete in the 2025 series due to an injury. Mum-of-three Dani told fans at the time: "I had a fall in rehearsals and landed funny. "I thought I had rolled my foot but it swelled up badly over the weekend and after an MRI scan yesterday, it turns out I have fractured my ankle. "Apparently doing the quickstep on a fracture is not advisable (!!) and the doctors have said I am not allowed to dance so l've had to pull out of the show. "To say I'm heartbroken is the biggest understatement. I am so going to miss dancing with Nikita but will of course be watching closely and cheering all the couples on." Following the news of her having to withdraw, her former dance partner Nikita shared: "So so gutted to have finished our journey before it even properly started." He continued: "The amount of laughs and fun we had in this short time was unbelievable. "Really loved our partnership and hope that one day we can actually get to week one lol but, health is the most important thing." Meanwhile, Amber shared the whirlwind she faced becoming a part of the line-up, commenting: "This has been the craziest 24 hours of my life." Saying she would "give it my all", she added: ""I've watched Strictly with my family since I was younger and to now be part of the show is a dream come true." Dani was among those throwing support behind her replacement, writing on Instagram: "Good luck babe you will be amazing." Strictly Come Dancing is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
