Strictly Come Dancing's Claudia Winkleman has sent her love to fellow Strictly star Amy Dowden , who recently shared a health update with her fans. Earlier this week, Amy revealed that she was undergoing another mastectomy, and on Friday, she provided an update to her Instagram followers. The 35-year-old Welsh Strictly star was diagnosed with cancer in May 2023 after discovering a lump in her breast during her honeymoon. Amy posted a picture from the hospital earlier this week, updating her followers on her condition. She penned: "Thank you for all the messages and love. Sorry, I've not replied to anyone (only just looked at my phone).", reports Wales Online . "Surgery went well, and lots of sleep and resting up. Hubby and Family have been looking after me, and the besties have turned up with the goods, and nothing is stopping us from watching the Traitors ...keeping the tradition going." Surrounded by loved ones bearing gifts in her hospital bed, Amy was seen hooked up to a drip. However, on Saturday night, Amy updated her followers again, receiving a flood of messages from her Strictly colleagues. Alongside a photo of herself sitting on the sofa with a cuppa, she wrote, "Home, resting up, still got my drain in but rrrrrready for the best entertainment and medicine there is for me..... @bbcstrictly good luck everyone. Cheering you all on from home! Lots of luck and love xxxxx." Claudia was quick to respond, filling Amy's comment section with red heart emojis. Joanne Clifton also sent the pro some love hearts, while Karen Carney said, "Sending so much love." One fan wrote, "Have a lovely and restful evening." Another person commented, "Sending love and healing hugs your way, Amy. "The strongest person!! I hope you have a speedy recovery, gorgeous girl! sending so much love," another added.
