A somber update comes through from Stockton regarding a car accident that occurred late last week, resulting in a young child's death. Five-year-old Bryan Thong, a resident of Stockton, succumbed to his injuries last Sunday following the crash that took place on October 21 at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Northbank Court. This tragic outcome was confirmed by the Sacramento County Coroner's Office, as reported by ABC10. Details from law enforcement state the collision happened at approximately 12:30 a.m. when one sedan broadsided another. The aftermath of the impact left Thong in critical condition, resulting in his transportation to the hospital along with a 42-year-old woman from the same vehicle who, along with the other driver, a 25-year-old man, were treated for minor injuries at the scene. Although the investigation by the Stockton Police Department is ongoing, and the cause of the crash has yet to be definitively ascertained, it’s important to note both drivers remained on scene and are cooperating with the investigation, as noted by CBS News Sacramento.
