Staten Island HS cross country: MSIT boys, NDA and Wagner girls heading to States

BRONX, N.Y — After an action-packed weekend at the CHSAA Intersectional Championship and PSAL City Championships on Saturday, three Staten Island teams — the McKee/Staten Island Tech boys and the Notre Dame Academy and Susan Wagner girls — officially punched their tickets to the New York State meet. The Seagulls, the 2025 Island team champions, finished third overall behind city powers Bronx Science and Brooklyn Tech at the PSAL City Championship. Senior standout Simon Saffayeh capped his stellar PSAL career with a fifth-place individual finish in 16:40.00, leading MSIT’s strong team effort.
