Springfield to hold free vaccine clinics

SPRINGFIELD — The city will offer free clinics for flu, COVID-19 and RSV vaccines over the next two weeks in five locations. The vaccines are being offered through the Department of Health and Human Services in partnership with the Big Y Pharmacy. Supplies are limited so people are urged to call the centers where the vaccines are being provided to register and people are asked to bring their health insurance cards with them if they have one. The clinics will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at the Raymond Jordan Senior Center; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Oct. 29, at the Clodo Concepcion Greenleaf Community Center; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Nov. 3, at the Hungry Hill Senior Center; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Nov. 5, at the North End Senior Center and 1 to 4 p.m., Nov. 6, at the East Forest Park Branch Library.
