Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda. The agreement aims to deepen bilateral relations and enhance collaboration between Somalia and Rwanda in key areas including diplomacy, trade, investment, and capacity building. Minister Abdisalam arrived in Kigali on Saturday evening for a two-day official visit, during which both sides discussed ways to expand cooperation and promote mutual development. Officials from both countries described the agreement as a significant step toward strengthening partnership and advancing shared interests that contribute to regional peace, stability, and prosperity. During his visit, Minister Abdisalam also toured the Kigali Genocide Memorial on Sunday, October 26, where he observed exhibits outlining the tragic events of the 1994 genocide. He commended the memorial’s efforts in preserving history, promoting reconciliation, and fostering national unity, while emphasizing the importance of collective memory in strengthening social cohesion and supporting peacebuilding initiatives.
