Sneako recently hit back at Elon Musk after the tech billionaire reacted to a video of the streamer's interaction with a Groyper at Zohran Mamdani's election party. For the uninitiated, Mamdani won New York City's mayoral election on November 4, 2025, against opponents Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa. Sneako reportedly livestreamed the win and the election party, where he ran into a Groyper named Armando of Mexican descent. The Groyper was spotted wearing a blue "America First" hat, a nod to Nick Fuentes' show. For the uninitiated, the word "groyper' originated as a variant of the "Pepe the Frog" meme and was co-opted as the name for conservative political commentator Nick Fuentes' followers. According to NBC News, Groypers are known for holding racist, homophobic, White nationalist, and anti-semitic views.During the live stream, Sneako seemed surprised to see a Groyper celebrating Zohran Mamdani's win, calling the man "f**king ballsy." X user Eyal Yakoby posted a clip of this interaction on X, claiming that Mamdani's win was a "psyop to divide the right" in the caption."BREAKING: Groypers were at Zohran Mamdani’s election party, celebrating his win. If you ever needed more proof that this is a psyop to divide the right and have the left win, here is it."Elon Musk commented under the post with a "100" emoji, seemingly co-signing the post's caption. Meanwhile, Sneako quote-tweeted Elon Musk's reaction and told him to stay out of New York City politics. He also claimed that Musk's fans would call for his deportation back to Africa if he were "a shade darker," writing:"Thanks for free speech, but stay out of NYC politics Elon. If you were a shade darker your fans would call for your deportation back to Africa on the same boat as Mamdani."SNEAKO @sneakoLINKThanks for free speech, but stay out of NYC politics Elon. If you were a shade darker your fans would call for your deportation back to Africa on the same boat as Mamdani.Elon Musk previously called Zohran Mamdani a "charismatic swindler"This is not the first time Elon Musk has been critical of NYC mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani. The Tesla founder, who backed Andrew Cuomo in the election, accused Mamdani of being a "charismatic swindler" during his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, which aired on October 31, 2025.He claimed that New York City would experience a "catastrophic decline in living standards" if Mamdani, a Democratic socialist, were elected mayor, adding:"Mamdani is a charismatic swindler. I mean you gotta hand it to him, like, he can light up a stage, but he has just been a swindler his entire life...If Mamdani's policies are put into place, especially at scale, it would be a catastrophic decline in living standards, not just for the rich, but for everyone. As has been the case with every socialist experiment."NYC Mayoral Candidate Zohran Mamdani holds Election Night Event (Image via Getty)Elon Musk also faced backlash for intentionally mispelling Mamdani's last name in a post endorsing Cuomo on November 4, 2025. He referred to Zohran Mamdani, who is of Indian descent, as "Mumdumi" in his post, writing:“Bear in mind that a vote for Curtis is really a vote for Mumdumi or whatever his name is. Vote Cuomo!” Elon Musk @elonmuskLINKRemember to vote tomorrow in New York! Bear in mind that a vote for Curtis is really a vote for Mumdumi or whatever his name is. VOTE CUOMO!The tech billionaire also claimed that New York City's ballot form was a "scam" in another X post uploaded on the same day, alleging that voting did not require voter identification and arguing that some candidates' names occurred twice. He tweeted a separate post about the last issue, reposting a picture of a ballot paper where Zohran Mamdani's name appeared twice and captioned it:"Given that he's on the ballot twice, he can win twice too."However, according to AFP Fact Check, candidates' names appearing more than once on a ballot form was normal, as one candidate can be endorsed by multiple political parties due to New York City’s fusion voting system. Mamdani was listed under both the Democratic Party and the Working Families Party.Zohran Mamdani, New York City's mayor-elect, will take office after a swearing-in ceremony on January 1, 2026.
