Sky TV shoppers snapping up £22 Ultimate TV deal with 140 channels

As the nights start to draw in, Brits might be considering a new TV provider, especially those out of contract - and Sky has an enticing deal offering over 140 channels for just £22 a month . The price of Sky's Ultimate TV bundle, which includes a plethora of channels such as Sky Max and Sky Comedy, along with Netflix, has been reduced. In addition, the deal includes Sky Stream - Sky's answer to a TV box, which connects to a TV effortlessly and with minimal wiring. Sky is also including Netflix and Discovery+ in the offer, at no additional cost. However, it's worth noting that this is part of a 24-month contract, so potential buyers will need to bear this in mind. It's an excellent time to snap up a TV or broadband deal, with many providers currently running significant sales. Virgin Media, for instance, is offering super-fast broadband for only £27.99 a month on its M500 and Gig1 broadband . EE is also offering its TV Entertainment package for £1 a month when purchased alongside an EE broadband package. This starts from £27.99 a month. The Daily Express, tried out Sky Stream when it first came out and was highly impressed during its review. Tech editor David Snelling said: "If you're looking for a hassle-free way to watch live Sky TV channels, exclusive boxsets, streaming services, sports, and movies, Sky Stream does not disappoint. This tiny device offers access to 100 paid-for channels you won't find on Freeview. "Everything is beamed to your television in High Definition as standard - something Sky Q customers still need to pay extra for. Without a satellite dish drilled into your walls or engineers trudging through your home. "Once ordered, Sky Stream arrives in the post with a step-by-step guide to get set up and streaming in seconds. Trust us, even the biggest technophobe should cope with this simple DIY set-up: just plug it in, connect to your Wi-Fi, and the binge-watching begins. "Seriously, setting up Sky Stream takes less time than preparing the popcorn to enjoy with your movie once everything is up and running." However, there is one significant disadvantage to consider. Sky provides various optional add-ons, including 4K Ultra viewing, though these extras can quickly mount up in cost. As David explained further, this can slowly add up for consumers. He added: "While that starting price is incredibly appealing, optional extras like 4K Ultra HD picture quality, Sky Cinema and Sky Sports channels. The £5 premium to skip adverts from catch-up services like ITVX and All4 all start to add up fast. Pretty soon, you could find yourself with a bill north of £80 per month."
