After wrapping up a dreamy Europe shoot, the cast and crew have now landed in Delhi for a quick yet action-packed shoot across Chhatarpur and Gurugram. And yes, despite the city’s rising pollution levels, the team’s making sure things stay cool (and safe) on set. The Delhi-shoot is reported to span approximately ten days from November 11 to November 20, with primary outdoor sequences set in Chhatarpur and Gurugram. A source told Hindustan Times, “It’s mostly outdoor shoot. They will be shooting in Chhatarpur and Gurugram apart from some other locations in South Delhi.” With Delhi’s Air-Quality Index crossing the 300 mark, the filming crew has deployed special precautions to safeguard cast and crew. On-set measures include air purifiers in vanity vans and rooms, the use of masks during shooting, and water-sprinklers before and between takes. The original Cocktail (2012) featured Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty; the new iteration is reported to start filming in August 2025 with a targeted release in the latter half of 2026. While Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon reunite after their 2024 pairing in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Rashmika Mandanna joins the duo for the first time, adding a new dynamic to the franchise. “We’re the best gang together,” Rashmika had said. The Cocktail 2 team had recently wrapped up their European schedule, which included shoots in Sicily, Italy.
