Sesko, Casemiro, Maguire, Mainoo - Man Utd injury news after triple blow vs Tottenham

Manchester United managed to scrape a draw in the Premier League against Tottenham , despite being down to ten men for the closing stages after suffering injuries. Bryan Mbeumo netted the opener, but Mathys Tel and Richarlison's strikes seemed to secure victory for Spurs until Matthijs de Ligt levelled the score in the final moments of the match. Ruben Amorim's team entered the game on a four-match unbeaten streak, largely to consistency developed from minimal changes to the starting line-up. However, Noussair Mazraoui, Harry Maguire and Patrick Dorgu came in for Diogo Dalot, Leny Yoro and Benjamin Sesko on Saturday. A minor issue also led to a change on their bench, with Kobbie Mainoo missing out for fellow academy graduate Jack Fletcher . This doubled the members on United's injury list, with Lisandro Martinez already side-lined due to a severe knee injury. Within 17 minutes at Spurs, this escalated to four potential injury concerns, as Maguire seemed to pull his hamstring and Sesko was forced off the pitch, leaving United a man short as Amorim had used up all his substitutions. With this in mind, Mirror Sport has examined the latest United injury updates as the November international break looms. Just over half-an-hour after being brought on by Amorim, Sesko sustained an injury which saw him immediately head for the tunnel. The problem seemed to occur when he stretched to take a shot, quickly sitting down on the pitch after his attempt, receiving treatment and then limping off. "We have to see, but I think he has a problem," Amorim told TNT Sports post-match. Amorim hinted that Casemiro might also have been unable to continue, suggesting that injuries contributed to Tottenham's comeback. "With everything that happened, Harry has to come out, Casemiro has to come out and Ben," he stated on TNT Sports. Maguire was seen on camera holding his hamstring after a tussle with Richarlison. He tried to play on, but was clearly in discomfort, leading to his substitution by Yoro after 72 minutes. Mainoo was noticeably absent from United's pre-game train journey down to London on Friday and unsurprisingly he was also missing from the matchday squad. The Athletic later reported that a minor injury would rule him out of the Tottenham game. Martinez, who has returned to team training at Carrington, is nearing a return from the serious knee injury he suffered in February. "He wants to go to this one," the United head coach said of Martinez last week before the Forest match. "He is not going to, he is going to take time."
