Serie A giants seeking around €15 million to sell prolific Tottenham target in January

Tottenham Hotspur discover the asking price for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic ahead of the January transfer window Tottenham Hotspur’s solid start to the season has been foiled by recent results in the Premier League. They have managed just one win in their last four Premier League fixtures. The 2-1 home defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday exposed many deficiencies in the Spurs squad. The lack of attacking threat from wide left and down the middle is becoming a problem for the north Londoners. Thomas Frank’s problems are compounded by the continued absence of Dominic Solanke, who remains sidelined following an ankle surgery. Richarlison has gone off the boil after a bright start to the season and failed to make an impact off the bench against Aston Villa. Deadline day loan acquisition from PSG, Randal Kolo Muani only made his Premier League debut in the defeat to Aston Villa after spending almost a month on the sidelines with a dead leg. Tottenham learn price for landing Juventus striker Recent reports have linked Tottenham with several high-profile strikers as they explore options to bolster their forward line in the coming months. The Europa League champions are understood to be keeping tabs on Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic ahead of a possible January swoop. Spurs, along with few other clubs, have contacted the Serbian star’s representatives over a possible move in the coming months. Dusan Vlahovic is into the final 10 months of his contract at Juventus. With his contract winding down and no talk of an extension, the door is wide open for the 25-year-old to leave the Turin giants on a free transfer at the end of the season, or at a paltry price in the January transfer window. Now, according to a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Juventus plan to offload Vlahovic during the winter transfer window, aiming to get around €15 million for his services. The Turin giants want to avoid losing him on a free transfer and at the same time free up his hefty wages off the books. La Liga duo Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are also considering a move for the big Serb to bolster their forward department. €15 million is bargain price for Vlahovic It would be fair to suggest Tottenham need a reliable striker to lead the attack, something neither Solanke has proven to be nor Richarlison. Interest in Vlahovic makes perfect sense- strong, good in the air, can hold the ball up and score all kinds of goals. The Serbian international may have not lived up to the lofty expectations at Juventus, but he has earned a good amount of experience and perhaps requires a new environment to get his career back on track. Tottenham would provide him with the platform to unlock his true potential under a head coach who has developed plenty of forwards during his time at Brentford. Vlahovic’s game is chaotic, complemented by pressing intensity, work rate and physicality, which Frank truly admires. He would be an upgrade on the injury-prone Richarlison and give Spurs a direct attacking approach up top. And with Juventus ready to listen to offers for him from €15 million in January, the Lilywhites have to do everything possible to get Vlahovic’s signature.
