Sejal Glass has reported that its net profit in the September quarter more than doubled to ₹8 crore as income was up 70 per cent ₹105 crore. EBITDA more than doubled to ₹18 crore in the quarter under review. With Glasstech acquisition in this fiscal, the company has three manufacturing units at Silvassa, Taloja and Erode in India and one unit in UAE. Amrut Gada, Promoter of Sejal Glass said the growing demand for high-quality architectural glass solutions has been one of the major contributors of sales during the quarter. “Our international business grew by nearly 60 per cent year-on-year, reflecting strong traction in export markets. The company continues to focus on enhancing product mix by increasing the share of insulated and laminated glass in India and the UAE, along with introducing digital printed glass through the Glasstech acquisition, he said. “These initiatives will further strengthen our value-added product portfolio and margin profile,” he said. The industry outlook remains very positive supported by sustained real estate and infrastructure growth in India and the GCC region, he added. With strong demand, capacity expansion and operational excellence, the company is well positioned to deliver long-term growth and value, he said.
