The Seattle Seahawks are set for a crucial showdown with the Arizona Cardinals. A win on Sunday could lead to a strong first-place standing in the NFC West division. Though receiver Cooper Kupp’s status has been in doubt, he has received a major update on his availability. More news: Raiders Fire Assistant Coach Amid Disastrous 2025 Season Seattle has found a true WR1 in Jaxson Smith-Njigba, as he has been the most productive receiver thus far this season. Smith-Njigba leads the NFL with 948 receiving yards. Despite his high usage, Kupp has come through in crucial moments. Kupo adds a middle-of-the-field and YAC (yards after the catch) ability that Sam Darnold has leaned on in key moments. The issue is the longtime receiver has dealt with a hamstring and heel injury ahead of this Week 10 showdown. The good news is the veteran pass catcher is expected to play. Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp (questionable, hamstring/heel) is expected to play Sunday vs. Cardinals, per source.— Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN) November 9, 2025 According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Kupp is expected to play despite being listed as questionable with the hamstring and heel injuries. This is huge for the Seahawks offense, especially since they are set to face the Cardinals. With a surging Cardinals offense that helped take down the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9, they are likely to play with a ton of confidence in Week 10. Seattle is currently thrust in a huge three-way tie with the rest of the NFC West, minus the Cardinals. The Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams are tied for first with a 6-2 record. Right behind is the San Francisco 49ers with a 6-3 record. Seattle beating the Cardinals today would place them firmly in first place, assuming the Rams also lose. Either way, the Seahawks have a much better shot at winning with Kupp in the lineup. Kupp has 293 yards and one touchdown through the regular season, but his 12.2 yards per catch is the impressive stat here. He offers a nice balance for the deep ball threat that Smith-Njigba is. The Seahawks’ offense is better with Kupp on the field, and that will be the case for Week 10. For more on the Seahawks, head to Newsweek Sports.
