Sarah McLachlan‘s recovery is taking longer than expected, and her battle with laryngitis forced her to postpone yet another stop on her Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th Anniversary Tour on Nov. 1, 2025. “I’m so sorry to have to announce another postponement for tonight’s show in Quebec City,” the 57-year-old shared on Instagram hours before the scheduled concert at the Videotron Centre Arena. “My voice has not recovered, and I am unable to perform. I’d rather wait to see you than to never be able to hear your voice again,” said one fan, while another wrote, “Please take care of yourself, Sarah. Your voice is your gift, and it deserves to heal.” Even a fan who had already travelled for the show expressed gracious support, writing, “Having a before concert cocktail in the Chateau Frontenac when we read this. We are obviously devastated, but wish you a fast recovery and can’t wait to see you soon!” Tiny Habits, the band opening for the tour, also shared the news on their Instagram Story and hoped they would be able to continue together soon. “Plz send your love to Sarah to recover quickly,” they wrote alongside broken heart emojis. The unfortunate news comes two days after McLachlan had to postpone her Montreal stops following some health issues. “I’m just devastated to have to announce the postponement of tonight’s show in Montreal,” she said on Oct. 30, adding that her “laryngitis [had] taken a turn for the worse and [she] woke up without a voice.”
