Sarah Ferguson slammed as 'manipulative and greedy' during on-air rant

A royal biographer has slammed Sarah Ferguson in a bombshell live on-air rant during a discussion about Prince Andrew. Andrew Lownie claimed the Duchess of York had a "hidden" side to her which he described as "manipulative and greedy with no moral boundaries." Sarah and Andrew have been embroiled in scandal in recent times over the pair's relationship with disgraced sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. While the Duchess was dropped as patron of numerous charities in the last few weeks due to a leaked email where she addressed Epstein as a "supreme friend," the Duke has made headlines over the last week due to sexual abuse accusations made against him in the late Virginia Giuffre's book. The prince has vehemently denied these accusations, the Mirror reported. He was asked what's next for the Duchess, to which he replied: "I think it's rather sad because I like her, I've met her, she actually grew up with my wife. My mother-in-law and her mother were at school together. "I actually had a meeting with her on the day that he settled with Giuffre to see if she would cooperate. Not because it would be authorised but to give her a fair shot at explaining herself," he claimed. "She decided not to do that. She told all her friends not to talk to me, she wrote letters to the publishers to say that they were watching them very carefully. "I was told that my social media would be monitored and I even would go to interviews and find that they had been texted not to talk to me." He added that Fergie was a "very popular member" of the Royal Family and did "a lot of great work for charity" - but that there are "two Sarahs". "There's another side to her that she's hidden very well which is manipulative, greedy, dishonest with no moral boundaries. I'm afraid that stuff is beginning to come out and I think the way that she's used charities to enhance her reputation, her social status and her business activities needed to be exposed." Earlier this week, Sarah Ferguson was forced to renounce her title as the Duchess of York after Prince Andrew announced that he was giving up his royal title. As a result, she's changed her X name, which originally was ‘SarahTheDuchess’. The Royal Family's official website has also been updated to reflect the loss of Andrew's dukedom and other honours over the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal. On Friday, Andrew announced that the accusations against him were 'distracting' from the work of the King and the royal family - and so he would step back from public duties. "I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life. With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. "I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me."
