The Ryder Cup captain and his significant other dressed up as two characters from the cult favorite film Ferris Bueller's Day Off, which was released around a novel published in 1986.Diane Donald posted a reel on her Instagram platform with over 29.2 thousand followers of the couple showing off their outfit. Channeling their inner Ferris Bueller and Sloane Peterson, the two created a wholesome moment while posing in front of a red colored Lamborghini.She posted the video to an audio clip of Ferris Bueller saying one of his signature lines that reads:"Life moves pretty fast. Proud of how his players performed, he said (via DP World Tour):"It's amazing. You know what Europe's accomplished. I think going into New York against a very strong team, we were certainly the underdogs. To win away - it's not easy. It has not been done very often, so we knew the task was tough, and I'm proud of the guys for the way they handled the whole environment. They just rose to the occasion. It was just so cool to watch as a captain and obviously the first two days went as good as planned, and Sunday was a little bit more stressful, but you know, we got it done."Played from October 16 to 19 at the iconic Delhi Golf Club, the Ryder Cup captain made the cut and placed 46th on the leaderboard at the end of the week. Luke Donald posted scores of 68, 71, 71, and 72 to end with a total 6 under par score.Team Europe's star Tommy Fleetwood secured the 2025 DP World India Championship title with scores of 68, 64, 69, and 65, totaling an impressive 7 under par. His Ryder Cup teammates, Shane Lowry and Viktor Hovland placed tied for 3rd and 6th place respectively.
