Lalu Yadav’s elder daughter and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Rohini Acharya slammed BJP over Samrat Chaudhary’s ‘dancer’ remark for RJD’s Chapra candidate Khesari Lal Yadav. Acharya targeted BJP leaders like Hema Malini and Kangana Ranaut and referred to them as ‘nachaniya’ (dancers). Responding to BJP’s ‘nachaniya’ jibe against Khesari Lal, RJD leader Rohini Acharya said to reporters, “… Yes, they will call others dancers because who all do they have? Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, Nirahua, Pawan Singh, Hema Malini, Kangana Ranaut, are all ‘nachaniya’ (dancers). They call others ‘nachaniya’, but in their own party, the NDA is carrying around ‘nachaniya’ to gather crowds. Do those ‘nachaniya’ feel no shame? Their faces are being used to gather crowds… Are they ‘nachaniya’? They are artists. “They too have contributed to India. All our artists and actors have contributed. So many good films are made. There are two types of people everywhere: good and bad. In the BJP, all the bad people come and become good. Prajwal Revanna, a mass rapist, is fine now. Asaram Bapu, Ram Rahim, all these people have become good… Can someone call an artist, a ‘nachaniya’? This is the language they use. Notably, ahead of Bihar elections 2025, Khesari Lal joined the Rashtriya Janata Dal. While several other big Bhojpuri stars, including Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, Pawan Singh and Dinesh Yadav (Nirahuwa), are already leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Bihar will go to the polls in two phases on November 6 and 11, with the counting of votes set to take place on November 14.
