Resident Evil Requiem is now available for pre-order ahead of its release. Just in time for spooky season, Resident Evil Requiem is available for pre-order on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and Xbox Series X|S (for whoever is still playing on that). Is it worth pre-ordering Resident Evil Requiem? Well, if you asked me, I'd say it's never worth it at face value. The days when GameStop (now canceled for posting Trump stuff) had lines for release nights are gone. Pre-ordering is definitely not necessary — games are not selling out or anything. However, there are a few benefits if you feel like pre-ordering anyway! First, you can often pre-load the game ahead of time so you can start playing right when the game is released. Second, Resident Evil Requiem pre-orders come with Grace's "Apocalypse" costume as a nice bonus. Where can you pre-order Resident Evil Requiem? Pick your poison! Whether it's an online retailer like Amazon or a brick-and-mortar like Walmart, you can pre-order Resident Evil Requiem (or any game really. After saying that pre-ordering isn't worth it, I should admit I pre-ordered Kirby Air Riders because I am a KIRBY SIMP, OKAY!?). Anyway, you can also pre-order Resident Evil Requiem on Steam or the Epic Games Store if you wanna cut out the middle man and go digital. If you go Deluxe, you'll get the base game (same as us Standard losers get) and an exclusive pack that includes five costumes, four weapon skins, two screen filters, two charms, and one partridge in a pear tree. Scratch that last one. Want to spend even more on Resident Evil Requiem? If so, you're in luck. There's also a special Resident Evil-themed Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller available on launch day as well as an amiibo (which I assume will be $1,000 by that point since Nintendo can't seem to stop raising its prices).
