Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh announced a pilot project to set up Aam Aadmi Clinics in central jails, offering inmates comprehensive healthcare and mental health support. Calling jails “Sudhar Ghars,” he stressed reform over punishment. Over 4.2 crore patients have already benefited from these clinics across Punjab since August 2022.
