GEORGETOWN – A single, devastating explosion at the Mobil Gas Station on Regent and King Streets has resulted in a national tragedy, claiming the life of a six-year-old girl and triggering a full-scale criminal investigation ordered directly by President Dr. Irfaan Ali. The Head of State, currently overseas, announced that a “person of interest” has been identified in connection with the horrific blast. The victim has been identified as six-year-old Saraya Bourne, who tragically succumbed to her injuries. The critical casualties include Sedyia McIntosh and Rishad Lorde, who remain hospitalized with severe injuries, while Jennifer Cooper and Yvonne Jones sustained minor injuries.
