Pixar fans will soon be able to step inside the worlds of their favourite animated films when a huge new immersive exhibition opens in London next year. Mundo Pixar Experience, billed as the world’s largest multi-sensory Pixar exhibition, is coming to Wembley Park from February 13, 2026, offering visitors a chance to explore scenes and settings from some of the studio’s most popular movies. The experience has already drawn more than three million visitors across Brazil, Mexico, Belgium and Spain, and will make its UK debut ahead of a major year for Pixar, which has two new films scheduled for release in 2026 — Hoppers in March and Toy Story 5 in June. Covering more than 3,500 square metres in a purpose-built venue, Mundo Pixar will bring together 14 film universes and more than 25 sculptures inspired by the studio’s 30-year history of storytelling. Visitors can expect to find themselves shrunk down to toy size in Andy’s Room from Toy Story, exploring the Scare Floor from Monsters, Inc. with Mike and Sulley, or pulling up a seat in Flo’s Café from Cars alongside Lightning McQueen. They will also be able to wander through Riley’s headquarters from Inside Out 2, take flight with Carl Fredricksen from Up, and cross from the Land of the Living to the Land of the Dead in Coco. Each area combines detailed set design, lighting, sound and scent to create a fully immersive atmosphere designed to appeal to visitors of all ages. The exhibition is being staged by Golden Peak Live Entertainment in partnership with Proactiv Entertainment, RG Live, Senbla and Luna, and will include a newly created installation made specifically for the London leg of the world tour. In addition to the main sets, guests will be able to take part in a Pixar Ball Treasure Hunt, with the studio’s familiar yellow ball and red star hidden throughout the venue as a nod to the Easter egg that has appeared in almost every Pixar film. Exclusive merchandise and photo opportunities will also be available, making the exhibition both a family day out and a celebration of one of the most successful animation studios of all time. The exhibition’s arrival follows other major expansions of the Pixar brand around the world. Earlier this year, the Pixar Place Hotel opened at Disney California Adventure Park, with 15 floors and 479 rooms decorated with original concept art, character sketches and murals inspired by films such as The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Soul and Turning Red. Each floor celebrates a different Pixar feature, from early development artwork to final CGI designs. Meanwhile, Disneyland Paris is preparing to relaunch its Walt Disney Studios site as Disney Adventure World, with new attractions themed around The Lion King, Frozen and Up. The park’s long-anticipated World of Frozen area, which will transport visitors into the kingdom of Arendelle and feature appearances by Frozen favourites Anna, Elsa and Olaf, is due to open next spring. Since releasing its first feature, Toy Story, in 1995, Pixar has become one of the most influential names in modern animation, producing more than two dozen hit films and winning 23 Oscars. Its blend of heart, humour and cutting-edge technology has inspired generations of audiences and now, for the first time, they’ll be able to walk right into its worlds. It was confirmed in February 2023 that plans are underway for Toy Story 5, which is expected to be released next summer. Mundo Pixar Experience opens at Wembley Park on February 13, 2026.
