Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development and Rural Water Supply, K. Pawan Kalyan has instructed the officials to expedite the process of linking all rural roads to GeoSadak, theonline platform of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana that manages and displays geospatial data related to village roads. Aligning with the GeoSadak would help in real-time tracking of road conditions and undertake improvement measures accordingly, Mr. Pawan Kalyan said and asked the officials to submit of an action plan in 48 hours. Addressing a review meeting on the departments in his portfolio, at his camp office near Mangalagiri on Friday, Mr. Pawan Kalyan said linking the Adavi Thalli Bata scheme with the GeoSadak should be taken up as a pilot project and that the construction of 662 roads connecting 761 tribal villages should be carried out at a brisk pace. A total of ₹1,158 crore has been mobilised for these works from Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN), Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employee Guarantee Scheme and the State’s coffers to some extent. Pointing out that the progress in the implementation of Adavi Thalli Bata was not up to the mark, he insisted that the challenges being faced in the Agency areas must be overcome with a proper plan. He wanted any issues faced in its execution, especially in Alluri Sitharama Raju and Parvatipuram-Manyam districts, by duly consulting with the forest and other departments concerned. Palle Panduga 2.0 Mr. Pawan Kalyan said the officials should ensure that quality standards were maintained in works being implemented under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) and told them to gear up for the launch of Palle Panduga 2.0 with the help of Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) funds. He wanted the PR&RD Department officials to coordinate with the Finance Department for the speedy release of ₹2,123 crore of SASCI funds for launching the Palle Panduga 2.0. The Deputy Chief Minister said that he would monitor the progress of JJM projects from the third week of November and make field visits after November 17 to inspect the ongoing works. Mr. Pawan Kalyan asked the officials that the Survey of Villages Abadi and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas (SVAMITVA) should be implemented properly as per the guidelines. Property ownership cards One crore property ownership cards should be given by the end of March 2026, with the State government seal printed on them without fail.
