Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love had an epic performance on Sunday Night Football in Week 8 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Not only did he defeat the Steelers, he was able to beat his former mentor. Aaron Rodgers had a chance to become the fifth quarterback in NFL history to beat all 32 teams in the league. He would have joined Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, and Drew Brees by reaching that feat. Unfortunately for him, Love denied that opportunity. Love ended up completing 29 of his 37 pass attempts for 360 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions. So far this year in seven games, Love has thrown for 1,798 yards, 13 touchdowns, and just two interceptions, while completing 70.9 percent of his passes. He has also run for 109 yards on 25 attempts. It’s still relatively early in the season. There is a lot of work for Love and Green Bay to do. However, he does appear to have taken the next step from where he has been over the last couple of years.
