Residents of Onitsha North Local Government Area of Anambra State have expressed support for the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, describing his administration as one of the most impactful in the state’s history. Speaking during a campaign rally at Ezechima Primary School, Onitsha, the Council Chairman, Tony Nworah, commended the governor for what he called significant achievements in road infrastructure, security, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and economic development. “The governor’s performance in areas such as security, road construction, economic revitalisation, free education, free maternal services, and youth empowerment is unprecedented,” Nworah said. Read Also: NECO opens UK exam centre for Nigerians in Diaspora “We are confident in our capacity to deliver all 313 polling units in the 15 electoral wards in Onitsha North for APGA.” In his remarks, Governor Soludo thanked the people for their continued support, assuring them that his administration would sustain its development drive if given another mandate. He also commended the community for what he described as the “miracle of Monday,” referring to the growing return of business activities in the area despite past disruptions. “Your support is deeply appreciated and will never be taken for granted. With your partnership, we will continue to deliver good governance and development to every part of Anambra,” the governor said. The event, attended by the Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, and other government officials, featured the presentation of over ₦30 million in donations from groups and individuals in support of Soludo’s re-election campaign.
