Popular K-pop idol-turned-actor Ok Taecyeon is all set to tie the knot after having a six-year public relationship with his girlfriend. On November 1, Taecyeon’s agency, 51K, confirmed the news by making an official announcement. The agency revealed that Ok Taecyeon will be getting married in a private ceremony surrounded by family and close friends. Ok Taecyeon’s Agency Confirms The Actor’s Wedding News The 2PM member’s agency made an official announcement and shared, “Ok Taecyeon has promised to spend the rest of his life with the person he has been in a long-term relationship with. As the bride is a non-celebrity, we ask for your understanding that details will remain private.” The statement further read, “Even after the marriage, Ok Taecyeon will continue to greet fans with good works and various activities.” The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place next spring at an undisclosed location in Seoul and will be strictly private. Ok Taecyeon Shares Handwritten Notes For Fans The singer-turned-actor later shared a handwritten note on Instagram to address his fans. “Hello, this is Ok Taecyeon of 2PM. I wanted to personally share some news with the fans who have always cherished and supported me, so I am writing this letter,” he wrote. “It’s already been 19 years since I debuted with 2PM. I first began my journey at the age of 19 through the programme Superstar Survival, and throughout this long time, I’ve been able to come this far thanks to all of you who have always stood by me. That’s why I felt it was right to personally share my news with those who have supported and loved me the most first,” he continued.
