Nvidia GTC 2025 LIVE — CEO Jensen Huang shares what’s next for AI, robotics and GPUs

Nvidia GTC is back with a bumper keynote from CEO Jensen Huang, and if the previous events from San Jose , Taiwan and Paris were anything to go by, we're set to see more of the future of AI. Team Green is very much at the center of this, and a lot has happened since the last time Huang spoke on the big stage. Since then, Nvidia announced a team up with Intel , taking a roughly 5% stake in the company. On top of that, Nvidia also forged a $1,00 billion alliance with OpenAI , which in turn gave the green light to a $300 billion cloud deal with Oracle . We've also seen the first DGX Spark systems launch too , which puts a mini AI supercomputer on people's desks, and advancements in Groot N1 Humanoid Robot foundation model, and the march towards Blackwell Ultra GPU chips continue. What to expect from Nvidia GTC Specifics of GTC announcements are kept pretty secret until Jensen takes the stage. But as we've learnt from the past three keynotes, it's worth paying attention to where the $4 trillion is right now — both in product development and (specifically) the location where the keynote is being held. A roadmap for future GPU architecture: Earlier this year, Huang announced that Blackwell Ultra AI chips are set to launch later this year. Expect to hear more about these — maybe a more concrete release date. Keep a close eye on it, as you may be seeing the first signs of what may be inside the RTX 50 SUPER series GPUs . Advancements in AI, robotics and computing: This bit is obvious, but what specifically will we see? I think there will be more talk of efficiency, developments in physical AI (including examples of how Groot N1 is going to be used) and maybe even some looks into how Nvidia's wealth of compute power could bring AR and AI closer together. Made in the USA: Patriotism is becoming the new hotness in computing, and Nvidia did make its first Blackwell GPU wafer at the TSMC Arizona plant . Nothing specific was said about moving to mass production, so we could get some additional details here. Getting political with AI: No, I don't mean sharing political views. But rather how AI compute can help with government work. We've seen Nvidia make big strides in agentic AI, and being in the home of U.S. Government, I'm expecting both some big talk on how the age of AI is a public necessity in the future, and how it can help with governmental work. Alongside this, a very public show like this is a great way to campaign to eliminate trade restrictions with other nations.
