Novak Djokovic, the Serbian tennis superstar and 24-time Grand Slam champion, has withdrawn from the 2025 Rolex Paris Masters. The decision comes after he retired during a first-set tiebreak against Taylor Fritz in the recent Six Kings Slam exhibition in Saudi Arabia. While the exact nature of Djokovic's injuries remains unclear, his recent withdrawal suggests they could be serious. This is the second consecutive year that Djokovic has withdrawn from the Paris Masters. Notably, the Serbian star is yet to reveal the official reason for his withdrawal, leaving fans wondering about his participation in the upcoming ATP Finals in Turin from November 9. Notably, Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi will replace Djokovic at the upcoming Paris Masters. Djokovic, who refrains from publicly complaining about injuries or illness, had a tough time during the recent ATP tournaments. He looked unwell en route to the Shanghai Masters semi-finals. Valentin Vacherot defeated him in the semis. Despite his health concerns, Djokovic has been vocal about his desire to continue playing tennis longer than expected. Earlier this month, Djokovic made it to the Shanghai Masters semi-final. At 38, he became the oldest player to reach an ATP Masters 1000 semi-final. Djokovic earlier reached his 112th Round of 16 match, the joint-most at ATP Masters 1000 events. He is currently 35-11 in the season, with his lone title coming at Geneva. It was his 100th tour-level title. The Serb still vies for his record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title.
