India managed to salvage a nine-wicket win over hosts Australia in the third one-day international at the Sydney Cricket Ground to avoid a series whitewash. Ahead of the series in the shortest format of the game, Australian legend Adam Gilchrist was asked about one Indian player the Aussies should be afraid of and his prediction for the series. While many would have picked Abhishek Sharma, Gilly went for Arshdeep. “I think Arshdeep Singh, he’s quite venomous with the ball at the top of the innings and at the end of the innings. I think he is India’s leading wicket-taker in the T20 format in International cricket. So, I think he’s someone who the Aussies need to be mindful of,” Gilchrist said.
