NFL Legend Tom Brady Receives Historic News Away From Football

Following his illustrious NFL career that saw him win seven Super Bowls, earn 15 Pro Bowl selections and be named NFL MVP three times, former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has found plenty of ways to stay busy. Brady, 48, secured minority ownership in the Las Vegas Raiders and Aces in 2023, merged his personal health brand with NoBull in 2024 and also signed on to be the face of Fox’s NFL coverage with a 10-year deal worth $375 million. While a lot of his endeavors center around football, Brady has also ventured into the world of electric boat racing, starting Team Brady, which competes in the international E1 Series. As shared to Instagram by Team Brady, they officially were crowned world champions for the second year in a row in what is just the second year of the racing league. “BACK-TO-BACK WORLD CHAMPIONS,” wrote Team Brady on Instagram. The UIM E1 World Championship took place on Friday and Saturday in Miami’s Biscayne Bay. Brady’s team beat out boats owned by other notable celebrities such as LeBron James, Will Smith and Rafa Nadal. While it’s not football, Brady is well aware of just how important having a good team is. “I just know they have a great group of people involved,” Brady told USA TODAY. “Our pilots are amazing. Our engineers are incredible. Our mechanics are incredible. We have great teamwork, we have great consistency. And there’s people that are just hold themselves to a very high standard.” According to Front Office Sports’ David Rumsey, E1 has goals to dramatically grow in the coming years. “Eventually, E1 wants to expand to 15 races, up from 7 this year,” wrote Rusmey. “Earlier this year, Basso, E1’s CEO, said the series aims to reach a valuation of nearly $700 million by 2030.”
