The first match of the series will be played tomorrow, October 26, at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. Interestingly, it will mark renowned cricketer Kane Williamson’s return to International Cricket. Notably, the former New Zealand captain has not played for the Black Caps since the 2025 Champions Trophy final in March. Kyle Jamieson Out Of ODI Series As both teams are set to lock horns tomorrow, New Zealand faced a major roadblock as their star bowler Kyle Jamieson has been ruled out. In a statement confirmed by head coach Rob Walter, Jamieson will miss the three-match ODI series. Speaking about him, head coach Rob Walter said, “Kyle experienced some stiffness in his side after bowling today (Saturday) and we didn’t want to take any risks at this stage of the summer,” quoted WION. Notably, the right-arm pacer played 2 out of three T20Is before the ODI series.
