A new Italian restaurant and bar is getting set to open in Hamilton town centre, with special discounts available for customers during its first week. Located on Cadzow Street, Luciano’s and adjoining cocktail spot Vesp Bar will open on November 7 and are described by their owners as “a new culinary and nightlife destination”. The venues – operated by Meraki Group who also run Cocktails & Steaks in Uddingston and sister restaurant Luciano’s in Burnside – will open on Friday, November 7, with 50 per cent off pizza and pasta throughout the first week. Its owners say Luciano’s will serve “classic Italian dishes with a contemporary twist in a warm, elegant setting, bringing a refined taste of Italy to the town”. Vesp Bar is “inspired by the timeless Italian Vespa and the vibrant culture of aperitivo [and] blends Italian style with nightlife energy” and will host live music each weekend as “the rhythm of Italy meets the buzz of Hamilton”. The premises have been fully renovated ahead of the opening day and the new staff team are in place to serve customers, with the half-price offer running from November 7-12. Meraki restaurant group director Fallon Cowley said: “Hamilton deserves a venue that combines authentic Italian dining with an energetic social scene. “With Luciano’s and Vesp Bar, we’ve created a place where people can share exceptional food, discover inventive cocktails, and enjoy live music in the heart of the town.” * Don't miss the latest headlines from around Lanarkshire.
