The all new NBA 2K League season begins Saturday with the first of four multi-week tournaments and will culminate in crowning one team as champion in the spring of 2026. The relaunched NBA 2K League brings together NBA players, creators and fans in a new entertainment format with NBA 2K at its core, highlighting the fun and community of the video game. Blending competition with content, the upcoming season will include a mix of original programming on the 2K League social and YouTube channels as well as online and in-person competitions. In the first livestream of the relaunched NBA 2K League, NBA team gamers must draft secret guest creators to their teams before knowing who they are or if they can even play NBA 2K. The first tournament will be livestreamed on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and X, and feature the Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons, Memphis Grizzlies, Raptors Uprising GC, Utah Jazz, and Washington Wizards. Over the course of the season, each team will be represented by dedicated creators and NBA players as well as a select number of fans who have demonstrated both great gameplay and strong passion for their NBA team in a nationwide challenge open to anyone.
