AgenciesBigg Boss Nazara Technologies, India’s only publicly listed gaming company, has launched Bigg Boss: The Game, a mobile title based on the Endemol Shine India–produced reality show, in partnership with Banijay Rights.Developed by Fusebox Games, Nazara’s UK-based narrative studio behind mobile versions of global formats such as Big Brother and Love Island, the game puts players inside a virtual Bigg Boss house. Users enter as contestants, navigate alliances, take decisions, complete tasks and try to avoid eviction. The game mirrors the show’s episodic format and is designed for recurring updates in sync with TV storylines, making it a long-running product instead of a one-time launch.Nitish Mittersain, Joint Managing Director and CEO, Nazara Technologies, said, “Bigg Boss is one of India’s strongest entertainment brands, and mobile is the most natural extension of that fandom. With Fusebox now part of Nazara, we have the capability to take proven reality formats, localise them for Indian audiences, and keep them alive through regular content updates. This is as much a business story as it is a creative one – we are showing how IP, an owned studio and a strong publishing layer can come together to create seamless, recurring gaming experiences.”Mark Woollard, SVP Gaming, Banijay Rights, said, “The launch of Bigg Boss: The Game marks an exciting expansion of the brand in India, giving fans and players the opportunity to step inside the Bigg Boss house to experience all the excitement and challenges of the series themselves.”The title launches first in English and Hindi, with rollouts planned in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bangla, Kannada and Marathi to tap regional fan bases. It is available on Android and iOS, structured for season-style content drops aligned with developments on the show.Live EventsThe launch reflects Nazara’s strategy of building a portfolio around strong franchises. By pairing high-equity entertainment IP with in-house development, Nazara aims to reduce customer acquisition costs and accelerate time-to-market. Monetisation options include in-app purchases, premium narrative paths, limited-time challenges and live events linked to the Bigg Boss TV season.Bigg Boss is adapted from Big Brother, one of the world’s most successful reality franchises. Over 600 series have aired across 70 markets since the format debuted in 1999. It remains one of Banijay Entertainment’s top formats, airing in 29 territories last year, with long-running versions in the US and Italy and six regional variants annually in India.Add as a Reliable and Trusted News Source Add Now!
