They were called to Lilleshall Crescent, in the Graiseley area of the city, at around 12.15am, to reports of a shooting. The man, aged 30, was pronounced dead a short time later. West Midlands Police officers remain at the scene today to speak to witnesses and gather CCTV, and a dedicated website has been set up where the public can send dashcam, mobile phone footage, or any other information directly to investigators. Cief Inspector Richard Evans, of Wolverhampton Police, said: "Our thoughts are with the victim’s family today, and they will be getting all the support we can give them "We know this will cause real concern and anxiety for people living nearby, and we will have extra officers in the area to offer reassurance and listen to their concerns."
