Upon an invitation from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski, in the frames of UNGA80 in New York, attended the traditional Transatlantic Dinner. The event, which brought together EU and NATO Foreign Ministers, saw the common commitment to peace, stability, and prosperity reaffirmed. “As a credible NATO Ally, US partner, and signatory to the Security and Defence Partnership with the EU, we continue to actively contribute to regional, European, and global security. Our commitment to these goals remains clear and unequivocal”, he said on social media. Mucunski had many other activities in New York as well, including separate meetings with his counterparts from Cyprus and Oman. In addition, upon an invitation from Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani, he attended the working breakfast with the Friends of the Western Balkans group, where there was a discussion on the European perspective of the region, stability, and regional cooperation. Moreover, the Minister participated in the 1st Biennial Summit for a Sustainable, Inclusive and Resilient Global Economy.
