Olympic and world champion fencer Miles Chamley-Watson has signed with United Talent Agency and Digital Brand Architects for joint representation. Chamley-Watson is looking to expand beyond the fencing piste to more business opportunities across the sports, fashion, entertainment and digital media spaces. “I’ve always believed in pushing boundaries – in sport and in life. Partnering with UTA and DBA allows me to keep creating, inspiring, and opening doors for others to do the same so that together we can create a legacy, not a moment,” the swordsman said in a statement on Monday. The three-time Olympian in 2012 made history as the first American man in over 100 years to win an individual World Championship title in foil fencing and as the first African American man to be crowned World Champion. Chamley-Watson then went on to earn a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics as part of the U.S. men’s foil team. Now he’s looking to brand marketing and other post-Olympics career opportunities by linking up with UTA and Digital Brand Architects. Chamley-Watson’s athletic career has already led to collaborations with global brands like Nike, Mercedes-Benz, Hugo Boss and Richard Mille. That was followed by appearances at the 2025 Met Gala, walking the runway at Vogue World 2025 and being honored at Art Basel Paris. UTA and DBA will work to expand Chamley-Watson’s portfolio of endorsements, literary, unscripted projects, product ventures and help make fencing more accessible to sport fans. In March 2026, Chamley-Watson will launch the first-ever Miles Chamley-Watson Cup as a youth competition in Atlantic City sanctioned by USA Fencing and aiming to inspire the next generation of fencers. Chamley-Watson will continue to be represented at IMG Models. “Miles is breaking new ground in the world of sports. We’re looking forward to our partnership as well as positioning him to reshape the face and culture of fencing leading into LA ’28,” UTA Creators agent Travis Mynard said in a statement. Ali Wald, director of talent at DBA, added: “Miles embodies the fusion of sport, culture and creativity that today’s audiences are seeking out. DBA is thrilled to partner with him and UTA to develop impactful projects that extend far beyond competition, and further build out our focus in the sports world.”
