Meghalaya batter Akash Choudhary created history during the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy match against Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday (November 9) at the C.K. Pithwala Ground in Surat with a stunning knock of 50 in just 14 balls as his team is heading towards a huge victory in the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy play fixture. Akash walked out to bat at number eight with hs team in a comfortable position after opener Arpit Bhatewara scored a double century while skipper Kishan Lyndoh and Rahul Dadal made centuries. The 25-year-old wasted no time and made a 14-ball half-century which included eight sixes to give his team a quick finish before they declared at 628/6. Akash Choudhary Creates History Through the course of his innings, Akash hit eight sixes in a row which included six in one over against Limbar Devi. He is only the third player in the history of first-class history to achieve the feat and the second Indian after Ravi Shastri.
