"90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 days" is returning and the show is preparing to introduce viewers to some of its most intriguing couples to date. Season 8 of the TLC series follows eight Americans as they travel abroad and come face to face with their partners for the first time. Before the series returns later this year, TODAY.com has an exclusive first look at Season 8, including a trailer and an introduction to the eight couples who are merging their lives together following a long-distance relationship. See the Trailer for the New Season A new trailer for Season 8 of “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 days” introduces viewers to the eight couples who are about to encounter some major cultural differences when they meet for the first time. At the beginning of the trailer, several participants tell their friends and family about their partners and drop the news that they've never actually met in person. Forrest, a 32-year-old from Oregon, reveals that his long-distance partner Sheena, a 40-year-old who lives in the Philippines, has access to his every move via security cameras in his house. When he travels to meet his love in person, he brings his parents with him. Emma, a 28-year-old from California seems to be in it to win it in her relationship with Ziad, a 27-year-old from Morocco. "I am not leaving until there is a ring on my finger," she declares in one scene. Aviva, a 26-year-old living in Arizona, travels to Belize to meet her partner Stig, 30, and warns him ahead of time that she's "not on birth control." Aviva says she's "ready to settle down" but isn't sure if Stig is. "You're thinking about having a baby with your ex," she says in one conversation that takes place in person. Laura, a 47-year-old who lives in Washington, relocates to Turkey to be with Birkan, 26, and learns that he's experiencing financial struggles. "You're in a massive amount of debt. How much is it?" she asks in one scene. This season, Americans will travel to Turkey, Madagascar, Morocco, Belize, the Philippines and Nigeria to meet their partners. Throughout the experiment, they will encounter judgment from their families, secrets and drama. This season also features a familiar face: Elise, who appeared on "90 Day: Hunt for Love." Meet the Season 8 Cast and Couples Jovon, 38 (Alabama) and Annalyn, 38 (Philippines) "Legally married … yet meeting for the first time! Jovon and Annalyn’s six-year online romance began on Filipino Cupid and culminated in a virtual wedding during the pandemic. Now, for the first time, the couple is preparing to meet in person. But with strong personalities and very different expectations around money, lifestyle, and gender roles, their first in-person chapter as husband and wife may be far more complicated than they ever imagined." Aviva, 26 (Arizona) and Stig, 30 (Belize) "After two years of online connection sparked by a social media video, Aviva is finally taking the leap, traveling to Belize to meet her boyfriend Stig, a famous rapper known to his fans as Stig Da Artist, for the first time in person. Aviva is ready for forever, but Stig, ever popular with the ladies, has a constant swirl of rumors around him, causing Aviva and those closest to her to doubt whether he can fully commit.
