Advertisement - FAISALABAD, Oct 30 (APP): The measles and rubella vaccination campaign will be organised in the district from November 17 to 29. The children will be vaccinated to protect them from chronic diseases like measles and rubella during the 12-days long campaign. In this regard, arrangements were reviewed in a meeting held at the district health office here on Thursday. The officers of health, education, Rescue-1122 departments, WHO Unicef, NGOs, ulema and Christian community representatives were present in the meeting. DHO Dr Azmat Abbas informed the participants that all arrangements have been finalized for the vaccination drive. He urged the parents to vaccinate their children for their safety from chronic diseases. He said that special vaccination teams have been constituted which will vaccinate children by visiting door to door. He said that an awareness campaign is also ongoing for parents in the district.
