Martina Navratilova recently doubted Donald Trump's sanity after the US President claimed he's "much better looking" than Zohran Mamdani, the nominee for the Mayor of New York City fielded by the Democrats in the 2025 election, which is scheduled for Tuesday, November 4. Trump has repeatedly taken swipes at Mamdani amid the latter's election campaign; from declaring the 34-year-old a "Communist lunatic" to questioning his citizenship and more.On Friday, October 31, correspondent Norah O'Donnell interviewed Trump on CBS News' 60 Minutes. During the interview, O'Donnell was about to field a question to the US President about Mamdani, referring to him as a Democratic Socialist, but was interrupted. Here, in a rather dismissive and condescending tone, Trump said:"Communist, not socialist. Communist. He's far worse than a socialist."Susbequently, the correspondent asked the 79-year-old to share his thoughts on the view of some people, which sees Mamdani as a left-wing version of Trump. Here, the US President claimed that he is far superior compared to the 34-year-old as far as looks are concerned."Well, I think I'm a much better looking person than him, right?," Trump added.Writer, entrepreneur and political commentator Brian Krassenstein shared a video of Trump's quotes on X (formerly Twitter) and called the US President "insane" over his bizarre claim of looking better than Mamdani."BREAKING: Trump just claimed he’s better looking than Mamdani. Yes he’s insane," Krassenstein wrote.Krassenstein's post was soon viewed by former World No. 1 women's tennis legend Martina Navratilova, arguably the most staunch critic of Donald Trump in the tennis fraternity. Echoing Krassenstein's sentiments, the 18-time singles Major champion implied that according to her, insanity is the least of the US President's problems."Insane is the least of it," Navratilova wrote in reaction to Krassenstein's post.Martina Navratilova @MartinaLINKInsane is the least of itMartina Navratilova referred to Donald Trump as "criminal ignoramus" after President's alleged violation of US constitution with threatening remarks about Zohran MamdaniMartina Navratilova during a press conference at the Laureus World Sports Awards Madrid 2024 (Source: Getty)In September this year, Brian Krassenstein accused Donald Trump of breaking multiple federal laws as well as violating Article II of the US constitution after the US President threatened to make life miserable for Zohran Mamdani if he becomes the Mayor of New York City. Trump's threat, which was issued via a social media post, was that he would stop the flow of money from Washington to Mamdani, rendering him unable to deliver on his "fake Communist promises".After viewing Krassenstein's post on X, a furious Martina Navratilova, slamming Trump, wrote:"The criminal ignoramus is at it again"Earlier this year, Navratilova also claimed that she wouldn't have defected to the USA from Czechoslovakia in the 1970s had the USA's political atmosphere at the time been as it is nowadays under the Donald Trump administration.
