Marlon Wayans brings ‘Wild Child’ comedy tour to St. George Theatre in November

Comedian and actor Marlon Wayans will perform his “Wild Child” tour at the St. George Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 8 p.m. The show comes as Wayans maintains a busy schedule across multiple entertainment projects. He currently stars in the psychological horror film “Him” from Universal Pictures and Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw banner, which centers on a promising young athlete who is invited to train with a team’s retiring star quarterback played by Wayans. The film is directed by Justin Tipping. Wayans is also in production with his brothers Keenen and Shawn on a new “Scary Movie” film scheduled for release on June 12, 2026. The Wayans brothers developed the “Scary Movie” franchise, with Keenen writing and directing the first two films while Marlon and Shawn wrote and starred in them. The comedian will reprise his role as Will’s dad Lou in the fourth season of “Bel-Air," which premieres on Nov. 24. His performance in the series earned him an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Guest Performance in February. The Wayans family were also honored with the NAACP 2025 Hall of Fame Award during the live telecast on Feb. 22. Wayans’ comedy career continues to flourish with his latest special Marlon Wayans: Good Grief, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in June 2024. The special, filmed at the Apollo Theatre in New York City, hit number one on the streaming platform during its first weekend. He chose the Apollo Theatre location to honor his parents, who both grew up in Harlem. As a stand-up comedian, Wayans is selling out shows nationwide and adding performances every weekend. His films have grossed $1.14 billion in domestic box office and nearly $1.8 billion globally. Previous comedy specials include “Woke-ish” on Netflix and “God Loves Me,” “You Know What It Is,” and “Marlon Wayans Presents: The Headliners” on HBO Max. Wayans is widely recognized for his role as Marcus Copeland in the 2004 comedy “White Chicks” alongside brother Shawn. His extensive filmography includes “Requiem for a Dream,” “Respect,” “Fifty Shades of Black”, “Little Man,” “A Haunted House” and its sequel, “Naked,” “Sextuplets,” “The Curse of Bridge Hollow,” “Air,” and “On The Rocks." Television credits include “The Wayans Bros.,” “Marlon,” “In Living Color,” and “Bel-Air."
